Unleavened Bread celebrates the day when the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, the house of bondage. Everything the Lord does has a spiritual meaning. Unleavened means sin free and the only way you can be sin free is to be washed by the blood of Jesus. This is why Unleavened Bread follows after Passover because once the Lord passes over your sin you are clean and he wants you to stay clean. His blood has washed away the leaven in your life. This feast represents a clean people, a people that has been washed of all their sins and iniquities. The Lord requires us to keep this feast for 7 days because he gave man 7 days (which represents 7,000 years) and he wants man to maintain this cleanliness throughout the whole 7 days. The Lord’s feast shows you what you need to do to get salvation. Join us as we read the Bible and examine the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
