Prayer: Psalms 135:14-18 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants. (15) The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. John 17:1, 6, 13-14, 17, 19-21, 23 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. [18] As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. [20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; [21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Notes:

  • Sanctify = To set apart
  • Truth = The Word of God

 

Daniel 10:14-21 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. [15] And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. [16] And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. [17] For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. [18] Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, [19] And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. [20] Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. [21] But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Notes:

  • Latter days = Close to the time of the end
  • Gabriel was held up by Satan (Prince of the kingdom of Persia) for 21 days until Michael came and helped him to get away.
  • Even the angels want to know what God’s word says.

 

James 1:17-18, 21 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. [18] Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Notes:

  • Variableness = Unpredictability, unsettledness
  • Superfluity = Excess, surplus, overabundance

 

1 Peter 2:1-2, 9, 12, 17 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, [2] As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. 17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

Notes:

  • Malice = hatred, spite, wickedness
  • Guile = cunning, slyness, deviousness
  • hypocrisies = double standards, pretenses
  • Envies = greediness, covetousness
  • Evil speakings = lying on the word of God
  • Holy = Righteous, sacred, hallowed, blessed
  • Gentiles = The children of Japheth/Europeans/White people

 

 

1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: [13] To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

 

1 Peter 1:1-2, 13-16 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, [2] Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; [14] As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: [15] But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; [16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Notes:

  • The Elect:
    • Have foreknowledge of God’s plans and have knowledge before something happens.
    • Are sanctified (separated by the Word of God)
    • Obey the Commandments of God
    • And are under the blood of Jesus.

 

Leviticus 11:43-47 Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby. [44] For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. [45] For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. [46] This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth: [47] To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.

Notes:

  • Servants of God can’t just eat anything. We have to eat that which is Clean, not Unclean in order to be holy.
  • All beasts are good but not all of them are to be consumed by man. People who eat unclean things are defiled by them and are not holy.

 

Genesis 7:1-3 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. [2] Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. [3] Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

Notes:

  • The Clean beasts were brought into the ark by 7’s; 7 males & 7 females.
  • The Unclean beasts by 2’s; 2 males & 2 females.

 

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? [17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Notes:

  • Temple of God = Our bodies
  • Spirit of God = Word of God
  • We are supposed to be holy because the Word of God dwells in us as his servants.
  • To defile the temple is to eat that which is unclean or to break the commandments of God.

 

 

Isaiah 65:2-5 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts; [3] A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; [4] Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels; [5] Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

Notes:

  • Graves/monuments = Dead churches
  • Swine’s flesh = Pig/pork
  • These are people who call themselves servants of God but they do contrary to God’s word and eat things God told us not to eat. They believe they are holy but they are not.
  • God’s church is not divided, yet we have all these denominations, all of which believe themselves to be holier than God’s true church, the commonwealth of Israel.

 

Isaiah 66:15-17 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. [16] For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. [17] They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

Notes:

  • Plead = Kill
  • One tree in the midst = Satan

 

1 Timothy 4:1-5 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Notes:

  • Spirit = Word of God
  • Seducing spirits = devils, fallen angels
  • Doctrines of Devils = false religions, especially Catholicism.
  • Sanctified = set apart
    • These are the beasts you can eat and the ones you can’t because they have been set apart, so you can know the difference between that which is holy and that which is not.

 

 

1 Corinthians 6:9-11, 17, 19-20 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. [11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? [20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Notes:

  • Kingdom of God = New Jerusalem
  • Effeminate = Men who act or have mannerisms like women
  • Abusers of themselves with mankind = Sodomites
  • We are washed through the baptism through the blood of Christ.
  • One spirit = One mindset, one way of thinking
  • Holy Ghost = Word of God
  • Price = The blood of Jesus

 

1 Thessalonians 4:2-4, 7-8 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. [3] For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: [4] That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; 7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. [8] He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Notes:

  • Sanctification = Consecration, set apart in holiness
  • Holiness is a process that we as God’s servants must learn as we walk this walk to salvation.

 

Ezekiel 22:25-26 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. [26] Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Notes:

  • False Prophets = Ministers, Preachers, Pastors, etc. who teach contrary to the Word of God
  • Devoured souls = False prophets have eaten up many of God’s people.
  • Treasure and precious things = Word of God
  • Profaned = Blasphemed, disrespected
  • My Sabbaths = God’s weekly Sabbath and His 7 annual Sabbaths (Feast days)

 

 

2 Timothy 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Notes:

  • Natural affection = Men with women
  • Form of Godliness = Claiming to be servants of God but are not

 

2 Corinthians 6:17, 14-16, 18 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Notes:

  • Light = Truth & Righteousness
  • Darkness = Lies & Deceit
  • Infidel = Non-believer

 

 

Romans 9:4-5 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; [5] Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Notes:

  • No one can take these things away from Israel because God chose Israel to teach the world.

 

1 Timothy 1:5-11 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: [6] From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; [7] Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. [8] But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; [9] Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, [10] For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; [11] According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Notes:

  • Charity = To give, donate, love
  • Unfeigned = Sincere, truthful, genuine, real
  • Law = The Commandments of God

 

 

Hebrews 12:4-6, 9-11, 14 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. [5] And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: [6] For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? [10] For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. [11] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Notes:

  • Resisted unto blood = Died for the Word of God
  • Chastening = Correction
  • Faint = Give up and go back to the world

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

 

2 Corinthians 3:1-3, 6 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? Romans 7:14, 12, 22, 25 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

 

Ephesians 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; [26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, [27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
