Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in the Jordan River. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus … that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons and daughters of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.
Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized.
The following requirements are all according to the Word of God, the God of Israel. Anyone who has decided to be baptized must be at least 20 years of age. We ask that you bring a change of under garments to the baptism. The baptism committee is staffed with both brothers to assist the men, and sisters to assist the women, with their baptism attire. If you have any questions after reading the requirements below, please contact the main office. Be strong and of good courage in the name of Jesus Christ.
